Here are some scenes from the riverside--shots that I took as our boat was passing by. Looking at the way workers on the riverside haul rocks on their heads, terms like "postmodern" lose their meaning. Most of Bangladesh hasn't seen "modernity" yet, let alone a postmodern world.
